Anyway, the pics I chose won't be new if you've been following along here but I was excited to share my experience with all of their readers and hopefully will convince some people out there that Kenya is a no brainer! Click on over to my post to see more.

Guest post: Go Ahead Tours
Super pumped to share my guest spot on the Destination Go Blog today! This is the blog of Go Ahead Tours, a branch of my parent company, EF Education, and the product that I traveled to Kenya with back in November. I highly recommend reading through all of the posts, especially Jimmy's! He is a photographer by trade and has the privilege of traveling the world for Go Ahead Tours for an entire year. Um. That's my dream job. Just sayin'.

Engaged: Jaimie & Beck
Back in January, my sister, Jaimie, and her longtime boyfriend, Beck, FINALLY(!) got engaged. When two people have been dating on and off for 15+ years, the stream of 'when are they gonna get engaged??' questions follows you like the plague. Beck pulled off the nearly impossible task of getting both families together up at Sunday River with only two weeks notice, proposing mid-slope and surprising Jaim with everyone waiting down at the lodge. I'll spare you the rest of the pictures as it was absolutely freezing and none of us were really in the mood to be photographed but I do love this one - Jaim skied right by before she noticed a big group of people (not at all dressed to ski) cheering. While she claims she wasn't super surprised, I think this moment does really capture the overwhelming moment of realizing that the proposal had actually happened!
Since they are planning a late summer 2015 wedding, we thought it would be fun to have a little engagement brunch to celebrate now. I was far more concerned with eating my way through our carb-heavy spread and only took a few photos but I can tell you that we had a really lovely time. Many thanks to our hostess, Meghan, for putting on a truly special little gathering.
Jaim & Beck, can't wait to take some engagement photos once we're all a little more tan! Congratulations and happy planning!
