Summer Time

I hate when I get home from wherever I've been and regret how much I had my camera out...which happened again after this past weekend.  A few shots from a mini family reunion down on the North Fork of Long Island where the bocci and croquet are fierce and the food, drinks and company are the best! The kiddos stole the show a little bit - especially baby Isidore, couldn't resist those contemplative looks and to-die-for curls.

My uncle Randy (a professional photog in his younger years) and the self timer deserve credit for some of these...glad I got to actually be in a few of them!

Celebrate: Sam Turns One

What a difference a year makes!  Last June Sam surprised everyone by joining the world over a month early and an entire week before his mama's baby shower.  He was teeny tiny then but has certainly made up any lost time over the last 12 months!  He already has stamps from Sweden and Gibraltar in his passport and has mastered the overnight transatlantic flight.  This spring Jenny and Fredrik moved their new family of three out of the city and to the 'burbs to a home better suited for a soon-to-be toddler - I can't believe how much has changed since last summer!

I popped by their new house a couple of weeks ago, got to visit with Jenny and snapped some quick pics of Sam.  He's busy pulling himself up and is ready to walk any day now.  Those baby blues are just as stunning in real life as they are here...he's going to break many hearts some day!

Happy 1st birthday, Sam!  And Jenny and Fredrik, congrats on surviving year #1!

Meet: The Boyaggi Family

The Boyaggi Family might be the cutest family you ever did see.  With two boys under the age of two, Hannah and Pat certainly have their hands full but they make it look like a piece of cake.  Noah is your typical 22 month old obsessed with cars (both the real and toy variety) while 8 week old baby Connor is getting a front row seat to toddler-dom.  Both kiddos have the prettiest blue eyes and the sweetest disposition.

I visited them all two days before the 4th - in true New England summer fashion, it wasn't even 9am and it was already hot and humid and miserable outside but we had loads of fun playing Legos, eating snacks (Noah, a man after my own heart, needed a little bite to eat to get reenergized) and waving at the cars heading down their quiet tree lined street.

Hannah, Pat, Noah & Connor, thanks so much for having me over!  I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th!
