Married: Alice & Gabe 08.03.14

When Alice and I video Skyped over the winter to discuss the plans for her August wedding day, I knew that I had my kind of bride and groom.  Speaking with Gabe's mom, Marcia, a few days later confirmed that these two would be a dream to work with and they didn't disappoint!  They were to be married in my home town and with Gabe's family being from the south, I was excited to see yet another group of people introduced to midcoast Maine.

Alice and Gabe were married at the Maine Maritime Museum on an August day that started out rainy and was cloudy throughout the afternoon.  But then 5pm hit, the sun came out and Alice walked down the hill with the most beautiful golden summer sunshine at her back. What followed was an intimate ceremony with friends and family huddled around the couple, many laughs and a beaming bride and groom. The cocktail hour and reception were laid back with incredibly heartfelt toasts that invoked lots of laughter and a few tears.  It was very obvious that this wedding was so very them.

Alice and Gabe, thank you so so so much for having me be a part of your wedding day!  You couldn't have been more welcoming and I left feeling very much like I had two new friends.  Congratulations and I hope your move goes smoothly and you'll be back to visit us up north!

Oh and Tim, thank you so much for sending these two my way!
